Saving your photo is one of the most important parts of the photo editing process. Here’s how to save your photo after you’ve edited it with BeFunky.

1. After you’ve finished editing your photo, click the Save button. It’s at the top of your screen, right in the middle. Once clicked, options for Computer, BeFunky, Facebook, Google Drive, and Dropbox will appear.

2. Saving to your Computer

Choose a filename, then select between JPG or PNG.

**JPG is a lossy compressed format that keeps file sizes small and works well for pretty much any use. You can adjust the quality (amount of compression) of the image using the slider, this changes the file size and the overall quality of your photo. PNG is a lossless compressed format which is great for printing and creating images with transparent backgrounds (we’ll get into that in another tutorial!).

Save

3. Saving to your BeFunky profile

Enter a description or name for your photo, then select whether you’d like your photo to appear in our Explore Gallery (public) or just for you (private). Lastly, choose if you’d like to Save Original Image along with the edited version (box checked) or just the edited version (box unchecked).

**Please note, images save to public will also appear in search engines like Google, Bing, Yahoo!, and more.**
