It’s irritating when the only thing keeping a picture from being fantastic is a bright red pimple. Which is why I wanted to share some retouching tools that I use to get rid of pesky blemishes. I use these tools CONSTANTLY. I use them on portraits of friends, group photo’s, selfies, and etc—I couldn’t live without them! Especially the teeth whitener, I almost always use that, regardless of whether my teeth look yellow, because I like that extra pop! Here’s a quick rundown of my favorite Touch Up tools in the Photo Editor.

Remove Blemishes

The Blemish Fix tool gets rid of red marks, uneven skin tones, and bumps. Start by uploading your photo:

From here you can change your brush size or brush hardness. You can think of brush hardness in terms of how “stiff” a brush is: the harder the brush, the crisper the effect. Conversely, turning down the brush hardness will yield a softer, more fuzzy outline of your brush stroke.

Once you’ve adjusted the sliders to your liking, just click over the problem areas to paint over flaws and watch them vanish:

Click the checkmark once you’re done and revel in your new dazzling photo.

Get Rid of Wrinkles and Fine Lines

The Wrinkle Removal tool is a great tool to get rid of creases and create a more youthful look. Much like with the Blemish tool, you can also adjust the strength of the effect along with your brush size and and the hardness for easier use.

Play around and adjust your sliders to yield different effects. Here’s an instance of the wrinkle tool in action with no brush hardness at 100% strength:

A subtle correction.

…vs. brush hardness at max:

Easily Whiten Teeth

This tool is amazing, and probably the tool I use the most; the Teeth Whitening tool! It even comes with an adjustable brush size for easy use. Just adjust your brush size and hardness and you’re ready to go.
